Selena Gomez did a major Instagram cleanse last week, mysteriously unfollowing literally everyone on her account from Kendall and Kylie Jenner to Taylor Swift and everyone in between.
The 21-year-old's purge upset one friend in particular—Austin Mahone.
The "Mmm Yeah" singer revealed to Us Weekly at the Radio Disney Music Awards on Saturday in Los Angeles, Calif., he shed "a single tear" after finding the "Come & Get It" singer no longer followed his account.
Mahone joked: "I was like, 'I wonder if Selena's still following my Instagram.' So I checked, and she was following zero people, and this is me … [motioning] a single tear."
The move comes shortly a week after Gomez's eventful weekend at Coachella, where she spent the three days hanging out with Kendall and Kylie Jenner and on-again off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber.
Following the music festival, Us Weekly broke news that the singer has hired Katy Perry's manager, Bradford Cobb; the former Disney star fired her mom Mandy Teefey and stepdad Brian Teefey, who have managed her since childhood.
As of midday Monday, April 29, Gomez was following zero people—famous or otherwise—on Instagram. The 21-year-old continues to post pics daily, including a recent cryptic message, referencing Mary J. Blige's song "Growing Pains."
