Here we go again! Azealia Banks is igniting yet another feud. This time, the singer is dissing Rihanna’s new “Work” music video. During a Twitter rant on Monday, February 22, Banks unfavorably compared RiRi’s latest vid to one of Beyoncé’s past gems.
“Work video reminds me of baby boy video with Sean Paul except not as fly,” she tweeted, referring to Queen Bey’s 2002 track. In the “Work” video, Rihanna shakes her booty and twerks while dancing in a club with collaborator Drake.
After the jab at Rihanna — which Banks later deleted — she proceeded to take on the entire music industry.
“Me watching the mediocrity that is the music industry 2016,” she tweeted, along with a photo of an unimpressed-looking woman smoking. “Music is honestly so f—king trash and boring. Let’s start a f—king beef and make s—t interesting. All these f—king pill popping divas doing the LEAST and the s—t is boring. Get these hoes a coffee and a pair of boxing gloves.”
“Bring out the real artists !!!!!” she added.
This isn’t the first time the hip-hop artist has criticized one of her fellow musicians. Banks has also fought with stars such as Iggy Azalea, Lady Gaga, Eminem and Nicki Minaj.
