Oh no! Baby Daddy star Jean-Luc Bilodeau learned that Halloween costumes can be dangerous this weekend, when he attended a Halloween party dressed as an alpaca.
“Jean-Luc Bilodeau, star of ABC Family’s Baby Daddy suffered a non-life threatening injury on Saturday night. He is expected to make a full recovery,” ABC Family tells Us Weekly in a statement. “The Baby Daddy production schedule is being rearranged to accommodate him. Our Feb. 3 premiere date will not be affected by this. Also, we want to clarify that Jean-Luc’s face and hands were not injured.”
The Canadian actor, 24, plays dad Ben Wheeler on the sitcom, which was just picked up for another 10 episodes on ABC Family, which is soon to be known as Freeform.
A source tells Us, “Jean-Luc is in good spirits. His cast mates have been visiting him.”
Bilodeau was apparently wearing his cotton ball-covered costume when he backed into a tiki torch and caught on fire. He was at his costar Tahj Mowry’s house at the time.
Baby Daddy is scheduled to return to ABC Family for Season 5 on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
