Two months after pleading guilty to a 2025 DWI charge, Bachelor alum Melissa Rycroft has been arrested on suspicion of another.
According to legal documents obtained by Us on Sunday, November 1, Tarrant County Corrections Centre in Texas was holding Rycroft, 43, on three charges issued earlier that day — driving while intoxicated, driving with an invalid license and collision involving damage to a vehicle under $200. TMZ was first to report the news.
Bond across all three charges totaled $9,000.
A mugshot also showed Rycroft, whom Us confirmed in August to have pleaded guilty to her prior DWI under a plea deal that saw her avoid jail time, dressed in a black shirt and wearing her disheveled hair out.
Us reported on August 12 that Rycroft was sentenced six days prior after signing off on her plea deal on August 10. The reality TV star, who rose to fame on season 13 of The Bachelor, agreed to 20 months of probation instead of 280 days in jail, and was also ordered to pay a $2,000 fine at the time.
The judge also ordered that she complete 36 hours of community service within 120 days and a DWI education program. Us also confirmed that she was not allowed to drive without a “camera equipped ignition interlock device.”
The former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader also agreed to be screened for substance abuse, which involved paying for “non-dilute urine samples for testing for controlled substances and cannabis as directed by the court.”
The plea also involved Rycroft agreeing to abstaining “from illegal use, possession, or sale of controlled substances, marijuana or cannabinoids,” as well as being unable to “consume or possess any alcoholic beverages.” She was to check in with Texas’ Community Supervision and Corrections Department (CSCD) on a monthly basis, and allow a supervision officer to visit her home or any other location “at any time,” as well as provide proof of employment.
Rycroft has been married to Tye Strickland since December 2009 and shares three children with him. Sharing family updates via her Instagram regularly, Rycroft posted a photo of her kids as recently as August 11, celebrating the return to school.
“Back to school!!! Can’t believe this was my last time to drive Ava to her first day of school,” she wrote at the time.
Just one week ago, she also shared moments from her family life at a Studio 54-themed party. “Studio 54. Back open, and everyone understood the assignment…..!!! Great night with the best friends!!!!” she wrote on Sunday, October 26.
