Wearing a tiara for two! The Bachelor and Bachelor Pad alum Erica Rose is expecting her first child with boyfriend Galen Gentry, Us Weekly exclusively confirms.
“I am really excited!” Rose exclusively tells Us. “We were trying, but I didn’t expect it to happen so soon. It’s something that I’ve always wanted and feel ready for, so we can’t wait.”
The reality TV star, 32, is due on September 24. The L.A.-based pair started dating in November after meeting through work. She is the director of business development for Gentry Law Group, where he is an attorney.
“We don’t know the gender,” she continues. “The first week, I felt like it was a girl, and then I was for sure it was a boy, so now I can’t decide if I even want to know yet!”
Rose says that she and Galen plan to tie the knot once the little one arrives.
“[Galen and I] aren’t married yet, but we are considering ourselves engaged,” she explains. “We were thinking about getting married in the next few months, but I think it’ll probably happen after the baby comes, since there’s so much to do!”
“I just hope this baby is a Libra, since I’m an Aries, and Aries get along really well with Libras,” the astrology fan adds.
Rose, known for wearing her signature tiara on the popular ABC dating series, competed for Prince Lorenzo Borghese‘s affection during The Bachelor season 9, and was cut in the third week. She later appeared on Bachelor Pad‘s second and third seasons, as well as the VH1 unscripted series You’re Cut Off!
This has been a fertile time for Bachelor Nation. The Bachelor season 17’s final couple, Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici, announced their first pregnancy in December, while season 6 Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky and fiancé Kevin Manno exclusively confirmed to Us last month that they are also expecting their first child.
