A new reality! Bachelorette alum Michael Stagliano and his wife, Emily, welcomed a baby boy, Bowen, on October 9, and the proud new dad can’t stop sharing cute photos of their little one on social media.
Michael shared his first emotional post on October 11, when Bowen was just 2 days old. “There certainly aren’t words enough to describe how much this picture means to @emilystag and I, but here’s my attempt,” he wrote. “Bowen Michael Stagliano came a month early (he really wanted to hangout with us). He was born at 6:33am, and came into the world just as the sun was rising over the mountains through the window outside the delivery room.”
The former reality star used the hashtag “#StagClan” to sign off his caption.
Because Bowen was born a month early, Michael explained, he had to spend some time in the neonatal intensive care unit, during which time the loving father made sure that his son got plenty of TLC.
“My big guy,” he captioned one image of himself feeding a sleepy Bowen. Another photo, of Michael’s parents visiting Bowen, was “a fun one with my parents and Bowen.”
But perhaps one of the cutest photos was that of a tiny Bowen looking surprised and thrilled to see the camera, which Michael posted on October 16.
The happy parents were finally able to bring Bowen home on October 17, and the newborn enjoyed time with family and more selfies with his proud dad.
“Late nights with my buddy,” he captioned one image of Bowen snuggled up to his chest.
Michael competed on season 5 of The Bachelorette, competing for Jillian Harris’ heart. The Washington native later competed on Bachelor Pad in 2012.
