Still stirring up trouble! Chad Johnson, who was sent home on episode 4 of JoJo Fletcher’s Bachelorette season, hinted that he may now be romancing fellow contestant Robby Hayes’ ex-girlfriend Hope Higginbotham.
The season 12 villain, 28, posted an Instagram collage of PDA pics of himself with Higginbotham on Monday, June 20. The post comes shortly after a Bachelorette preview in which Fletcher questions Hayes about rumors she’s heard from other men in the house that he broke up with his girlfriend to come on the ABC dating show.
Even after Johnson has left the show, he still continues to terrorize the other men — this time by flaunting his new romance. “While traveling this weekend, our paths crossed and I finally had the opportunity to meet Hope Higginbotham in person,” Johnson captioned the collage, which included two photos of the pair smooching. “Let me just say, she is even more beautiful in person!”
Johnson slammed Hayes in the caption, implying that the rumors of him dumping his longtime love for The Bachelorette are true. “A great girl like her deserves so much better than someone who lies, cheats, and ends a four year long relationship in order to pursue fame on a tv show. You’re amazing, I miss you already,” he wrote.
The luxury real estate agent was sent packing after he failed to get a rose on a contentious two-on-one date. Fellow marine Alex Woytkiw explained to Fletcher that all the contestants feared Johnson was violent. He threatened to knock out Woytkiw’s teeth, said he would find Jordan Rodgers after filming wrapped to beat him up and ripped Evan Bass’ shirt.
Last week, Johnson shared an Instagram video of himself watching the show, and said he finally realized why Bachelorette fans don’t like him. “So I finally watched the show at my sisters … Holy t-ts now I understand why some people hate me! Haha but some parts were hilarious too LOL,” he wrote on Wednesday, June 15. It was recently confirmed that Johnson will be appearing on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise.

Meanwhile, Hayes is still vying for Fletcher’s heart. The former competitive swimmer frequently posted photos with Higginbotham on his Instagram account for years until late 2015.
The Bachelorette airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
