Beauty influencer Adriana García has reportedly died after undergoing cosmetic surgery. She was 30.
El Universal reported on Tuesday, July 21, that García died after allegedly experiencing medical complications from an operation at a private clinic. Her cause of death has not been publicly shared. García’s death is still under investigation, per the outlet.
García’s death was confirmed by Mexican brand Drop Shop, which she was affiliated with, in a social media tribute shared on Tuesday.
“Today we say goodbye to a member of the Drop Shop family, fondly remembering her kindness, dedication, and the moments we shared with her,” the Instagram post read at the time. “We express our deepest condolences to her family, daughter, and friends, wishing them strength and peace during this difficult time.”
“Rest in peace, Adriana 🪽,” the caption concluded, translated via People. “You will always be part of the Drop Shop family.”
In the comments section, several users honored García. “A very sad day for all of us who know Adriana, I know that the loss of someone always generates many doubts, to your doubts I share that it was something of health. She will be greatly missed,” one translated comment read.
Another translated comment noted, “Rest in peace @_adrianaggc, even though I never met you, I know you always had a noble and loving heart, and always loving to everyone in heaven. Rest in peace Adri 🕊️🤍.”
García amassed more than 47,000 followers on Instagram, where she shared beauty and lifestyle content. She is survived by her daughter.
The content creator last posted to the social media platform on July 1, sharing a carousel of photos from a vacation. “Photos I didn’t upload,” the translated caption read. “Los Cabos 25.”
Months prior, García opened up about turning 30 — and how she had recently faced loss in her life.
“⭐️I always looked forward to April with great excitement. It was a month that meant joy to me: my birthday, vacations, and happy moments,” she wrote in the April Instagram caption. “But this year, April changed completely. In this same month, I experienced one of the greatest sorrows of my life: saying goodbye to my father and grandfather. Two people who profoundly marked my life and my heart.
The caption continued, “Although this birthday arrives with nostalgia and a huge void, it also arrives with immense gratitude. Gratitude for life, for the memories, for all the love and lessons they left me. I know that even though they are no longer physically with me, they are always with me.”
García noted that she would be “honoring their memory and carrying all the beautiful memories with me forever.”
