Out of all the special moments Becca Tilley has experienced with Hayley Kiyoko, one may just be a step above the rest.
“She did not grow up religious at all, and I did grow up religious, and I was talking about looking for a church,” Tilley, 38, exclusively told Us while attending T-Mobile’s T-Mix House in Los Angeles on Thursday, November 5. “Then she surprised me one day. She just told me we were going on a date. We pulled up, and she had brought me to a church. She was like, ‘Oh, I thought you’d want to try this church.’”
The former Bachelor contestant continued, “I just remember being like, ‘Wow, someone that cares so much about something that really wasn’t part of their life. It was just all for me.’ I was like, ‘She’s The One.’”
For nearly four years, Tilley and Kiyoko, 35, kept their relationship out of the public eye. In May 2022, however, the pair went public when Tilley appeared in Kiyoko’s music video for “For the Girls.”
In July 2025, Kiyoko proposed during a trip to Spain. Tilley returned the favor when she popped the question five months later in Japan.
“I knew she was my forever person pretty much from when we met,” Tilley gushed to Us.

While the duo aren’t rushing to plan a wedding, both parties agree they cannot get married in humidity “because we are the worst versions of ourselves.”
Right now, the cohost of iHeartRadio’s “Scrubbing In” podcast has no idea what dress she will wear when she walks down the aisle.
“It’s not a lie,” she told Us. “Everyone says you’ll go and you might pick something you totally never expected to love, so I’m keeping a very open mind with that.”
One thing that is certain is the fact that Tilley loves the ordinary moments with Kiyoko that can oftentimes feel extraordinary.

While celebrating the launch of T-Mix, T-Mobile’s new customizable wireless plans that bring together benefits across streaming, music, gaming, food delivery and more, Tilley praised Pandora’s involvement and the gift of great tunes.
“Haley and I went on a trip recently, and I always like to drive. She’s the passenger princess,” Becca recalled. “We were driving, and she fell asleep, and then she woke up, and I was singing. She’s like, ‘I love how much you love music.’ And so the fact that Pandora is an option for the T-Mix plan is so fun because nothing is better than picking out a favorite song and then having Pandora automatically choose what comes next and it being another favorite song.”
As fans eagerly wait for any and all wedding updates, Tilley is simply grateful that she gets to experience more unforgettable memories with her person.
The Bachelor Nation member can’t help but smile when she pictures the day when she can call herself a “wife.”
“It’s so interesting because I’ve never put pressure on the marriage or the wife and wife part of it, but I imagine it’s gonna feel like when you come home after a long day, and you’re so happy to be home,” she said. “There’s that feeling of like, I’m finally home. … It’s just a sigh of relief. This is what I hoped for, and it’s all I ever wanted.”
