Blue's got it! Best Album of the Year recipient Beck told reporters at the Universal 2015 Grammys afterparty that he enjoyed a jam session with music's biggest baby scion Blue Ivy Carter on Sunday, Feb. 8.
The Morning Phase hitmaker, 44, was asked about his favorite behind-the-scenes moment during the star-studded awards show at the Staples Center in L.A., and naturally, it involved some music and famous friends.
"I got to jam on some Hank Williams with Blue and Chris Martin backstage," Beck told reporters including Us Weekly at the Universal Music Group party. "She's good on the guitar!"
Blue also received a sweet shout-out from her world-famous mom who told her daughter on Sunday from the Grammys stage: "My daughter who's watching, Blue, I love you."
The Frozen-obsessed tot luckily had a playmate at the awards show in Martin's daughter Apple, who attended the Grammys to watch her rocker dad Martin perform and mom Gwyneth Paltrow introduce Beyonce. Eyewitnesses told Us that Paltrow's 10-year-old daughter stayed through the end of the show to enjoy Bey's performance, and snuck out of the theater after it was over.
In an interesting celebrity web that overlapped Sunday evening, Beck was insulted by Kanye West after he took home the Best Album of the Year Grammy over Beyonce. West rushed onstage to pull what many in the audience — including Blue's horrified and later relieved parents Jay and Bey — thought was yet another "Imma let you finish" moment, but Kim Kardashian's husband saved his honest sentiments for the E! aftershow.
