Bella Thorne takes comfort in her furry friends.
The star of the upcoming movie The Babysitter says her cats, Louis and Lola, can sense when she’s upset. “If I’m, like, crying or something, they’ll come up to me and they’ll just, like, snuggle me cause they know I’m having a bad day,” the actress, 18, tells Us Weekly. “That makes me feel so much better because, you know, then for a second I’m just thinking about them and what they want and not me and what I’m going through.”
Thorne invited Us to her L.A.-area home to meet her “precious” pets. She adopted Louis, a Siamese cat, in 2013 after he was used in a photo shoot for an ad campaign in which she appeared. But one wasn’t enough, she says: “We thought maybe he was lonely.”
In January, she announced on Instagram that she and boyfriend Gregg Sulkin welcomed Lola, a Scottish Fold, into their family as well. “She is so sweet. She really loves to play,” says Thorne. “She’s very new, but she’s already at home and so happy to be with us.”
And Thorne is thrilled with her new addition. “When I see my little Lola, enjoyment and love and sweetness just passes through me and I have to go up and kiss her and snuggle her,” she coos.
