Happy New Year! Ben Harper rang in 2015 by discreetly marrying. The singer said “I do” to social advocate Jaclyn Matfus on New Year’s Day, Us Weekly can confirm.
The newlyweds then stepped out together at the 2015 Grammys, posing with one another on the carpet and looking happily in love in matching black ensembles.
The surprise nuptials are the second for the Grammy winner, who was previously married to Laura Dern for five years. In 2010, the couple split citing irreconcilable differences. Together they are parents to son Ellery and daughter Jaya.
The happy news comes along with Harper’s recent announcement he’s reuniting with his band The Innocent Criminals after a seven-year long hiatus.
