The supplement aisle is louder than ever, and a celebrity endorsement can move product fast. So when Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel posted a glowing review of Grüns gummies, shoppers wanted to know whether the daily packet lives up to the hype.
Frankel, a self-described skeptic of gummy vitamins, says these are the rare ones she actually trusts. Here is what she has said, what is inside the gummies and what a registered dietitian wants you to consider before you add them to your cart.
Why Bethenny Frankel Is Recommending Gruns Gummies
Frankel first shared her review on TikTok in February 2025, explaining that each daily serving contains eight gummies because the brand could not pack enough nutrients into a single piece.
“They taste slightly sweet, but in a manageable way. It’s not candy, it’s not covered in sugar, but it’s kind of a little treat,” she said. She added that the gummies are “excellent for your digestion like a cleanse,” telling viewers to start slow and noting visible changes in her skin.
In July 2025, Frankel revisited the topic on Facebook, doubling down on her praise.
“I am not a truster of gummy vitamins. Why? Because they’re all dipped in sugar. It’s a full scam. These are the first ones I ever had that it’s really a vitamin, but it’s also like a treat,” she said. “Grüns is more accurately dosed than your current vitamin solution. You can trust them like they’re good for digestion, for energy, for recovery.”
What Is Inside the Superfood Greens Gummies?
According to the brand’s website, Grüns are plant-based and vegan bear-shaped gummies sold in bags of 28 daily packs, available in low-sugar and sugar-free versions. They are free from gluten, dairy and nuts, with no synthetic sweeteners or dyes.
Each daily pack includes whole veggies, whole fruits, vitamins and minerals, adaptogens, herbs, antioxidants, prebiotics and super mushrooms. The brand says the formula supports digestion, immune health, energy metabolism and normal cognitive function while delivering nutrients that help maintain hair, skin and nails.
Shaun White is a spokesperson and investor for Grüns.
“As a former pro athlete, I’ve always looked for ways to stay sharp, feel my best, and fuel my body without overcomplicating it. Grüns uses clean ingredients that actually deliver, and I love that it makes better health accessible to everyone, whether you’re training at the highest level or just trying to make good choices every day,” he said, per the website.
How Long Gruns Takes to Work and What Dietitians Say
Results vary. The brand says some users notice improvements within days or weeks while others see more gradual changes, and consistent daily use matters most.
A review by the New York Nutrition Group called the gummies “a delicious and convenient way to get essential nutrients” but flagged trade-offs including lower nutrient concentration and the possibility of added sugar. The dietitians recommended treating Grüns as a supplement to a balanced diet rather than a replacement for whole foods.
Registered dietitian Tracy Lockwood Beckerman, author of The Better Period Food Solution, urged shoppers to keep marketing language in perspective while speaking with Bon Appétit.
“Despite the radical claims, taking a gummy like Grüns is simply not going to ‘transform your health,’” Beckerman said. “As most health professionals agree, a [product] like this is meant to supplement a healthy and balanced diet.”
She noted that the brand avoids the megadoses common in the category, but warned that packing in vitamins, prebiotics and more into a single gummy “may sound efficient at a glance, but it could be a lot for the digestive system to handle at once. This could lead to gas, bloating or abdominal pain.”
