Let’s go crazy! Prince rocked out during a surprise late-night show in NYC on Friday, Feb. 13, Us Weekly can confirm. The legendary singer brought down the house at 23 Wall Street to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Michael Jordan’s Nike Jordan brand.
An insider tells Us that the star-studded hush-hush event was attended by the former NBA superstar, Beyonce, Jay Z, Queen Latifah, Chris Rock, Rosario Dawson, Carmelo Anthony, Questlove, and Today show co-host Tamron Hall.
“Beyonce and Jay Z were rocking out! Dancing like crazy,” the insider tells Us. “Very cute for Valentine’s Day.” The couple especially got intimate, appropriately enough, while Prince performed his sexy 1986 classic “Kiss.” The source adds that they also chatted with Jordan for some time.
Prince, 56, played all of his greatest hits — and for several hours! Some of the highlights included “Purple Rain,” “Let’s Go Crazy,” “Controversy,” “Cool,” and “Let’s Work.” (Last month, the singer made a special appearance at the 2015 Grammy Awards.)
“Prince was amazing!” the source tells Us. “Incredible show.”
