Front row support! Dancing With the Stars contestant Bindi Irwin posted a cute Instagram with her longtime boyfriend, Chandler Powell, who recently flew out to Los Angeles to support her on the ABC reality series.
“He’s here,” the late Steve Irwin‘s daughter wrote on Instagram with a heart emoji. “Thank you for always making me laugh, helping me to ice my foot when it hurts, making me tea and hugging me when I’m tired. You’re amazing.”
The pair met back in November 2013. Powell is an 18-year-old American wakeboarder from Florida, and he is now a global ambassador for Irwin’s Wildlife Warriors team.
“He is passionate about wildlife and an extraordinary wakeboarder,” she revealed to Australia’s Daily Telegraph last month. “We are excited to be achieving more conservation work together. I feel lucky to have him in my life.”
Irwin, 17, is a standout on this season of DWTS. Alongside partner Derek Hough, she is already a fan favorite to win the Mirrorball Trophy this season.
