She actually keeps up with the Kardashians! Pregnant Blac Chyna revealed what she loves about fiancé Rob Kardashian, why it’s best she called it quits with ex Tyga, her relationship with the Kardashians and more in a candid interview with Elle.
The stripper turned model, 28, said she’s excited for people to see a new side of her on her upcoming reality series, Rob & Chyna. "I wanted to show people my personality, that I'm not just a pretty face or what some people paint me out to be: this bad person, this stripper ho. I want them to see me as a mom, a businesswoman, a growing being,” she said. “[Rob] likes my work ethic, how I’m a hustler. I don’t care if it’s one dollar or a thousand dollars, I’m going to go out and get it.”
Chyna said her romance with Kardashian started off as a friendship. "When I linked up with Rob, he was at a point where nobody could really help him," Chyna told the magazine of the Arthur George sock designer, 29, who was overweight and reclusive at the time. "But I'm the type of person that likes to motivate my friends and help them figure out how they can do better. That's how we really started off.”
One way she helped him was by not asking too many questions. "When I'm around Rob, I'm never all up in his business, asking questions. I let him be himself and relax," she told Elle. "I'm not a therapist. If he opens up, and I say the wrong thing, he may shut me out. Sometimes it's just best to let people talk about it and get it off their chest. That's how I've been carrying the situation with me and Rob, and so far it's worked out.”
"Around Rob, I'm always able to speak my mind and speak freely and not care,” she continued of why the pair clicked. "I can do the craziest stuff or say the craziest stuff, and he doesn't judge me. Like if my stomach hurts, I don't have to pretend. I can go straight to the bathroom. It's those little things that really make a big difference.”
The Lashed Bar salon owner was previously engaged to Rob’s sister Kylie Jenner’s off-and-on boyfriend, Tyga, with whom she shares a 3-year-old son, King Cairo. "When you don't want to be in a relationship with somebody anymore, you don't give a f–k what they're doing," she said of Tyga reportedly moving on with Jenner while the former couple were on the rocks. "I was just like, ’Thank God I'm out of that situation.' And honestly, it was the best thing that I could've done, because my life has changed so much for the better.”
She also recalled starring in Tyga’s “Rack City” video, and said the gig only paid her $2,500. “I should’ve gotten more. He’s kinda cheap,” the reality star, who now gets more than $50,000 for an appearance, told Elle.
Although it’s complicated between Chyna and the Kardashian-Jenner family, they’ve all made amends. "We all have a really good relationship right now," Chyna claimed. "Everybody is talking. Everything is good.”
As for whether their baby girl will carry on the tradition of K names: “No,” she said. "The baby won't have a K name. We both agreed."
