Blake is blushing! Blake Shelton will FaceTime Gwen Stefani anytime and anywhere — no matter what he looks like. The country superstar joked about video-chatting with his girlfriend after an onlooker got a photo of his face on Stefani’s screen the day after Thanksgiving.
Stefani, 46, called her new beau while spending time at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., with her three sons — Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 21 months — on Friday, Nov. 27.
“These people — they get these pictures!” Shelton, 39, told Access Hollywood on Tuesday, Dec. 1. “What I think was like, ‘Hey! Look at this cool stuff at Disneyland!’ And the next thing I see is a picture of Gwen holding my face up at Disneyland.”
He added: “I’m always looking forward to the look on my face whenever [I’m] on her phone and her screen. My eyes are closed or I’m drooling or I’m picking my nose.”
As previously reported, Shelton initially invited the No Doubt singer and her kids to Oklahoma over the holiday weekend. Stefani declined the offer, but the couple did reunite earlier this week once Shelton returned to sunny L.A. On Monday, Stefani was even photographed driving Miranda Lambert’s ex to a taping of The Voice, where she later performed her emotional ballad “Used to Love You.” (She wrote the song after she ended her 13-year marriage to Gavin Rossdale. As Us exclusively revealed, the Bush rocker, 50, had an affair with their nanny Mindy Mann.)
“It’s fun to see her perform. The very happy and free Gwen is the only one I’ve ever really known other than when she was going through the divorce, that wasn’t good,” Shelton told Access Hollywood. “But spending time with her like [Pharrell Williams] has for years now — this is the only Gwen that I’ve known. So to see her get up there and do something that’s important to her — that’s cool.”
