“Blue’s Clues turns 20 today and I’m still a little mad about the pants,” the actor shared with followers on Thursday, along with a GIF of him awkwardly dancing on the show.

The interactive program, targeted toward preschoolers, featured Steve and his dog, Blue, following three clues each episode. The clues would be delivered by a living mailbox that would pop into the room after Steve sang the show’s catchy “Mailtime” tune.

“Noticing that I’m less excited about the mail at 42 than I was at 22,” Burns also joked on Twitter on Thursday.

Since exiting the show in 2002, the actor and producer has ventured into music. The musician most recently collaborated with Miley Cryus’ BFF Wayne Coyne’s The Flaming Lips and released an album titled Deep Sea Recovery Efforts. He also appeared in 2008 sci-fi film Christmas on Mars and most recently in 2012 on YouTube’s The Professionals.

The former host made headlines when rumors circulated that he had died from a heroine overdose after his departure from the popular kids show. Burns took the rumors in stride, joking about the speculation by making his Twitter handle @SteveBurnsAlive.
