It was a pink panty Paisley party! Kimberly Williams-Paisley told Us Weekly and other reporters on Wednesday, Mar. 18, that she and Brad Paisley recently renewed their wedding vows after nearly 12 years of marriage.
"We did a really, really campy wedding vow renewal ceremony," she told Us at the 23rd annual "A Night at Sardi's" benefit for the Alzheimer's Association at the Beverly Hilton. "It was awesome."
The Nashville actress, 43, told Us the nuptials went down "at a friend's house," and she wore a wedding dress — with a twist. "You could see my pink panties underneath it," she recalled. "It was pretty awesome. One of my best friend’s went and bought it for me. It was a surprise, I didn’t know we were doing it."
Williams-Paisley and the country superstar, 42, married back in 2003, and share two young sons, Huck, 8, and Jasper, 5. "They’re at such great ages," the proud mom told Us. "So fun to have around. We love hanging out with them."
In fact, the little ones — who have potential futures as musicians like their famous father — were involved in the couple's vow renewal ceremony. "That was cute," she said of her sons witnessing the ceremony. The beaming wife also noted that she and Paisley did not exchange new rings.
"We had a traditional wedding march… Our processional walk," she told Us. "It was very casual and very campy and silly. It was perfect."
As for date nights with the "She's Everything" crooner? "We definitely have chances to do that," she told Us. (One example? Wednesday’s event, where she was joined by her hubby.) "We have a lot of support," she added. "My in-laws are close by in Tennessee and I’m so grateful to them. They really let us get out and about when we want to."
