Best wedding gift ever! Kelsey and Maddie Hallerman fulfilled their bridesmaid duties and then some at a recent reception at the West Shore Cafe and Inn. In a viral-worthy video, the bride’s sisters belted out a stellar wedding speech with the help of some classic hits as backup tracks.
The two women warned the newlyweds, Caitlin and John Weaver, that they weren’t great singers. Before beginning their killer performance, they also teased previous toasts for being too sappy.
In the 6-minute speech, they created their own lyrics to songs such as ABBA’s “Dancing Queen,” Backstreet Boys’ “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back),” Michael Jackson’s “Black and White,” and “Oh Happy Day” from Sister Act 2.
“Cait, you’re the reason why we’re all here. You know John we both adore,” one sings. “Now you’re never going to be lonely. You are with the best guy of all time.”
The ladies briefly forgot the lyrics, but kept it going. They even gave a shout-out to their parents, John’s political affiliation, and how he popped the question.
