Glory to Godney in the highest! Britney Spears announced the release of her forthcoming ninth studio album, Glory, on Wednesday, August 3.
“#Glory. My new album & the beginning of a new era,” the 34-year-old pop princess shared on Twitter. “Available 8/26 on @AppleMusic. Pre-order tonight at midnight ET.”
Spears also announced that the LP’s pre-order comes with an instant download of her new track, “Private Show,” which she previously teased in a sexy commercial for an eponymous new fragrance.

“‘Private Show’ is inevitably a sexy song, and it promotes feeling sexy and girls feeling alive, and I think that’s fun for girls,” she told Entertainment Tonight of the tune on July 12.
Glory is the singer’s first studio album since 2013’s Britney Jean. Last month, Spears released the highly anticipated record’s first single, “Make Me…,” which features rapper G-Eazy.
Earlier this year, the mom of two told V magazine that she’s ecstatic for her fans, the Britney Army, to hear what she’s been working on. “It’s not what you would think at all,” she told the fashion publication in March. “It’s the best thing I’ve done in a long time. I’m proud of the work, and it’s very different; It’s not what you would think at all. But I’m not rushing anything. I just want it to be done right, so that my fans will truly appreciate it.”
Glory will be released on Apple Music on Friday, August 26.
