Don’t underestimate Brooks Nader as she prepares to heat up the small screen in the Baywatch reboot.
“I’m eating a lot healthier and I’m not partying as much, which, you know me, that’s pretty hard,” Nader, 29, exclusively shared with Us Weekly at The Daily Front Row‘s 10th annual Fashion Awards sponsored by DAOU Vineyards on Tuesday, April 14. “But I’m doing it, and I’m working out a lot and taking care of my mind, body, that whole situation. So, it’s a new era, a good one.”
While shooting the Baywatch reboot has required a lot of hard work and time, Nader is grateful to have the opportunity to star in an iconic series — all while wearing a red one-piece swimsuit.
“It’s been amazing. It’s a pinch-me moment, for sure,” she said at the Beverly Hills Hotel. “Every time I put it on every single day, even if it’s 4 a.m., I still well up a little, and I’m like, ‘Let’s do this!’”
Nader is certainly having a moment right now. In addition to preparing for the season 2 premiere of her family’s Hulu reality show, Love Thy Nader, the model is also rumored to be dating actor Taron Egerton.
While Nader stayed mum on her dating life on Tuesday night, a source previously shared with Us that the pair have gone out on several dates recently.
“It is still new, but he is someone who has definitely caught her eye and kept her interested,” the insider exclusively revealed to Us. “He is very charming, and she likes that he is a gentleman.”
Romance rumors aside, Nader was all about celebrating fashion on Tuesday night when she stepped out in a sparkling Halston dress from 1997.
Before accepting the Breakthrough Fashion Talent award from close friend Chrissy Teigen, Brooks received support from her extended family, including sisters Mary Holland Nader and Sarah Jane Nader.
“We’re so proud of her, so excited for her, and we’re thankful that we’ve gotten to be on this ride with her,” Brooks’ mom, Holland Nader, shared with Us at the event. “It’s just so exciting.”
Brooks’ dad, Breaux Nader, added, “I’m very proud of Brooks. She’s a hard worker. She deserves this award and everything that she gets.”
As for Brooks, she admitted to shedding a tear when first learning she was going to be honored at such a star-studded event.
“I was so honored, because Daily Front Row has been a part of my life since I got into the fashion industry,” she said. “It was my first cover, and it’s just such an honor to get this award.”
