Carl Radke Reacts to Rumors Kyle and Amanda’s Marriage Was Fake: ‘My Name’s on the Certificate’ (Exclusive)

Carl Radke sees fan theories out there about his Summer House castmates Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s marriage — and he has thoughts.

“I was really involved in their relationship for many years, and I know recently Kyle had to go onto the internet to defend the marriage part of it, because people were speculating it’s not real or it was fake,” Carl, 41, told Us Weekly exclusively at his Gonna Need Milk x Carl’s Not a Mess event in Brooklyn as part one of the season 10 reunion aired on Tuesday, May 26. “I married them, my name’s on the certificate, and by the state of New Jersey, it’s real.”

He added, “Lindsay sent the paperwork in!”

Amanda, 34, and Kyle, 43, tied the knot in 2021 in her parents’ backyard in her hometown of Hillsborough, New Jersey. And yes, Carl officiated the ceremony.

In January, the couple announced their split after four years of marriage, shortly before fans saw their marital strife playing out on season 10 of Summer House. Just two months later, Amanda confirmed her romance with West Wilson, her then-best friend Ciara Miller’s ex, rocking the Bravoverse.

“I’m very involved in their relationship, so it’s been uncomfortable to see the falling apart of it all,” Carl told Us of the situation. “I was always rooting for them and always wanted the best, and I thought they were going to work out, and having to see all this unfold, it’s hard. We lost friends.”

The Soft Bar founder did note the bright side of the situation: a deepening of his bond with Kyle and other castmates.

“Some friends have gotten stronger. I’ve gotten real close with Kyle, obviously, [and new cast members] KJ [Dillard], Mia [Calabrese] and I have a really strong bond. I love Ciara to death,” he told Us. “We’ve been a lot tighter as a result, and of course the others too.”

What doesn’t sit right with Carl, though, is how the news of Amanda and West’s relationship has put their past actions into question. Now, he looks back on past years and wonders, “What else was not real?”

“The touching … it’s just not cool. You can’t touch women that are married or not married. You don’t touch women in their waists or their neck or grab their heads and ears,” he reflected of West’s behavior. “I know we’re friends, and I hug Ciara. I hug Amanda. I’ve never put my hands on women like that that I’m not dating or hooking up with.”

He continued: “Watching some of that back actually pisses me off. It’s upsetting. … Even when they’re telling the truth, it’s like, are you though? So you just kind of question everything.”

While only one episode of the three-part reunion has aired, Carl hopes that fans will still feel some closure once the remaining episodes air.

“There’ll be more to come, so I’m gonna remain positive,” he teased.

Yet, Carl still remains upset with how West in particular is handling the situation.

“Even since the reunions ended, I’ve seen other little things happen. Little podcasts, spotted out in public, and those tell me a different story,” he told Us. “Those tell me you don’t give a s***, and I’m not saying you need to go hide in a hole, but the only real apology is changing your behavior.”

Part 2 of the Summer House reunion airs on Bravo Tuesday, June 2, at 8 p.m. ET. Every episode from season 10 is now streaming via Peacock.
