Channing Tatum has been sharing cryptic messages amid reports that ex-fiancée Zoë Kravitz is engaged to Harry Styles.
Tatum, 46, took to his Instagram Story on Monday, April 27, to post a poem written by John Roedel and wrote, “Read.”
“My brain and heart divorced / a decade ago / about who was to blame about how big of a mess I have become / Eventually, they couldn’t be in the same room together,” the poem read, per E! News.
The poem continued, “Now my head and heart share custody of me. They blame each other for the state of my life / there’s been a lot of yelling — and crying / so, / lately I’ve been spending a lot of time with my gut / who serves as my unofficial therapist.”
The poem detailed how the “heart is always sad about something that happened yesterday,” while the head is “always worried about something that may happen tomorrow.”
“My gut smiled and said: / ‘in that case, you should stay with your lungs for a while,'” the poem read. “There is only breath / and in that breath, you can rest while your heart and head work out their relationship.”
The poem concluded, “I packed a little bag and walked to the doors of the lungs / before I could even knock, she opened the door with a smile and a gust of wind embraced me, she said / ‘what took you so long?'”
Tatum followed up with another post about “ending an 8-year cycle” on Monday with a caption noting people who share his astrological sign, Taurus, will get a much-needed “reset.”
Multiple outlets reported earlier this month that Kravitz and Styles are engaged after dating for less than a year. Prior to their relationship, Kravitz was romantically linked to Tatum in 2021 and he popped the question in 2023. The next year, the pair opened up about their connection while promoting their film, Blink Twice.
“It was really interesting, because we started as friends just working on a project that we both really believe in,” Tatum told Entertainment Tonight in 2024. “When things start in that creative place … you just respect each other’s point of view, you respect each other’s mind, each others’ experience in life.”
He explained, “I now don’t know what I would do creating without her. Everybody was like, ‘You sure you want to go create with your partner?’ But I actually suggest that to almost everyone now, ’cause you really get to know who that person is and what they are to you and who they are to you when you’re in the trenches.”
Kravitz and Tatum separated in October 2024. He has since been linked to girlfriend Inka Williams.
