Not enough junk in the trunk. Chelsea Handler suggested to Jimmy Fallon that her backside was too flat to fit in with the other famous booties featured on E!, the network that once hosted her now-canceled talk show, Chelsea Lately.
During her appearance on the Tuesday, April 26, episode of The Tonight Show, Fallon, 41, told Handler, 41, that she used to be “the biggest name on E!” — a statement that the comedienne seemed to disagree with. “Was I the biggest name on E!?” she asked sarcastically.
“That wasn’t a Kardashian? Yeah, I think so,” the Saturday Night Live alum replied.
Handler responded to Fallon’s compliment with a hilarious one-liner. “I didn’t have a big enough ass to stay on that network,” she quipped, clearly referencing the ample assets of Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars Kourtney, Kim and Khloé Kardashian.
Joking aside, the funny lady — who stars on Netflix’s upcoming seres Chelsea — revealed that she left her post at E! in hopes of feeling fulfilled in her career.
“I don’t want to take anything for granted, and I want to be in a good mood when I get to work every day,” Handler explained to Fallon. “I was like, ‘This place is so stupid.’ I wanted to not be annoyed, you know what I mean? I wanted to be grateful that I had this life, that I get to do what I get to do … I’m like, ‘I don’t want to be an ass.'”
“I want to be happy,” the former standup comic added. “It was like I had my period the entire time.”
Chelsea premieres May 11 on Netflix.
