Surprise! Chelsea Peretti and Jordan Peele are married. The Brooklyn Nine-Nine actress, 38, revealed via Instagram on Tuesday, April 26, that they eloped.
“❤eloped a bit ago🌺❤our only witness was this lil guy 🐃,” she captioned an Instagram photo of her dog sitting next to a bouquet of flowers and a wedding band.
The couple got engaged last November after two years of dating.
"My fiancé (lololol) @JordanPeele proposed to me last night during the family talent show lolol," Peretti announced to her followers on Twitter last year.
The Key & Peele star, 37, was recently spotted wearing a wedding band on his ring finger on April 14 in Miami.
"I am married to actress Chelsea Peretti,” Peele said during a bit on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Monday, April 25, before his Key & Peele costar Keegan-Michael Key joked, “I am not married to actress to Chelsea Peretti, we are just dating.”
Peretti and Peele, who are featured in Booking.com’s ads for planning a destination wedding, have been joking about their wedding for some time. In one ad, the couple pretend to call off their tropical nuptials because getting in shape is too hard.
But based on the Hawaiian shirt the actress’ adorable little dog is wearing in her Instagram announcement, it seems like the couple may have made a destination wedding happen!
