Chris Brown Calls Himself “Young and Dumb” for Putting Karrueche Tran on Blast After Breakup

Chris Brown continues to struggle with relationship issues in a very public way.

The 25-year-old "Loyal" singer became in engaged in a bitter war of words with Karrueche Tran over the weekend, accusing the model, whom he dated for three years, of cheating on him with Drake and having threesomes. He later apologized, explaining he felt "hella wack" for his behavior, but the on-again/off-again couple remains broken up — for now.

"Being young and dumb is one of my strong suits and emotional at best," Brown wrote early Monday morning on Instagram. "I love hard and react impulsively when I'm hurt at times. I don't think social media is a place to air out or hash out personal problems and a n—a feel hella WACK for doing it. So I AM APOLOGIZING I live in a glass house and the same s–t that makes me great also is my curse."

He ended by writing, "Everybody know I love that girl. I don't care how my image my look to the public because I'm still gonna be the best at what I do. I just want baby girl to know I apologize."

The saga started two days earlier when Tran hinted at a split in a series of Instagram posts. "When something bad happens, you can either let it define you, let it destroy you or let it strengthen you," she wrote. "I refuse to be repeatedly mistreated especially by someone who claims to love me. That's not love."

She went on to admit that she hadn't been "smart" in the past, but that was going to change with her vowing to "be a better and stronger woman… If you can't love me the right way, then don't love me at all. Don't be mad at me because I prefer to be happy."

That set off Brown, who aired the couple's dirty laundry in an Instagram post, which he later deleted. "We've got scars, some of them u gave me, some of them I've caused," he wrote on Saturday. "That ride or die act we have been fooling the world with obviously ain't working. I was locked up for damn near 4 months and only got 1 visit from you while u was hosting parties and taking secret trips to Toronto, going on dates with Drake."

The star, who had been in jail for a probation violation, continued, "When this relationship first started u knew what it was and even participated in threesomes," he continued. "I slowed all that s–t down. So let's not try to save face for public opinion because I don't need to play victim so people can take my side. All these celebrity n—as ain't s–t and focus only on themselves. I made it clear to the world who my girl was and made your life equal to mine even at the cost of me not focusing on my career at times. So miss me wit the bulls–t. No y'all know the real."

Brown has become infamous for his relationship issues — and his temper. He is still on probation after committing felony assault against Rihanna, but has racked up several other charges. His temper has gotten the better of him in non-arrest situations too, including when he threw a chair at a window after an interview on Good Morning America and during a bar brawl with on-again/off-again rival Drake in NYC.
