Bye, Felicia! Ciara is ignoring her ex Future‘s recent online attack. Instead, the R&B songstress has been busy posting photos of her hunky NFL boyfriend, Russell Wilson, via Instagram.
Ciara, 30, and Wilson, 27, have been staying away from negativity these days. The couple — who began dating back in July — visited Seattle Children’s Hospital following Future’s rant.
“Cody, It Felt So Good To Hear You Saying You’re Getting Better! Go Champ Go!” Ciara captioned an Instagram pic of a patient on Tuesday, January 5. “@DangeRussWilson and I Are Rooting For You!! @seattlechildrens #strongagainstcancer.” Ciara and the Seattle Seahawks quarterback wore masks and hospital gowns, and appeared to be in good spirits during the special outing.
Ciara isn’t on good terms with Future, though. (The exes called off their engagement in August 2014.) As previously reported, the rapper, 32, slammed Ciara via Twitter on Monday, January 4. He specifically claimed that the “Love Sex Magic” singer is keeping their son, 19-month-old Future Zahir, away from him.
“This bitch got control problems…” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture…the f–kery for 15k a month. I jus want babyfuture that’s all…I been silent for a year & a half…I ran outta patience.”
He added: “Handling my business staying focus making music surrounded by real love & family.”
A source, meanwhile, alleges that Future is just “jealous” of Ciara. “Future uses the situation with their child to promote his music by staying in the press using her name,” the source alleges. “Ciara has never prevented him from seeing his children. He is jealous that she’s moved on and is happy. He is unable to move on and co-parent in a healthy way. Future has told her he hopes she fails in everything she does and that’s just being evil!”
