Ciara Miller is following in Ariana Madix’s footsteps.
Miller, 30, is set to star as Love Island USA’s new Aftersun host, which Peacock announced during NBCUniversal’s Upfront Presentation on Monday, May 11. During Aftersun, Miller and cohost Tefi Pessoa will discuss the Islanders’ love lives, drama and more. Dumped Islanders also join the episode to break down everything that happened behind the scenes in the villa.
Love Island USA, which Madix, 40, hosts, is set to premiere on June 2.
Miller’s new role comes amid the season 10 Summer House drama, which many Bravo fans compared to the infamous “Scandoval” on Vanderpump Rules, which also happened during the Bravo show’s 10th season.
Miller’s ex West Wilson shocked fans when he confirmed his romance with her close friend Amanda Batula months after she announced her split from estranged husband Kyle Cooke after four years of marriage.
Similarly, Madix became the Love Island host after news that her ex Tom Sandoval was hooking up with her good friend Rachel “Raquel” Leviss in 2023.
Following the scandal, Madix competed on season 32 of Dancing With the Stars. Miller was also announced as one of the first cast members to appear on the upcoming season 35 of Dancing With the Stars.
Last month, Madix told People that she reached out to Miller to check in on her amid the Summer House drama.
“I definitely wanted, especially early on, to kind of check in and just be like, ‘I love you, and you’re amazing,’” she shared. “I think she’s so poised to take over the world. I think she’s at such a good point in her career, and she’s such a beautiful and amazing woman.”
Madix added, “Sometimes life puts things in front of you that you didn’t expect, but good things come from it, you know, and that’s what I’m thinking is on the horizon for [Miller].”
Miller broke her silence on Wilson, 31, and Batula, 34, exploring their romantic connection while chatting with Glamour in April. “It’s one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors. To experience it so publicly is like another layer, and then to have to see what you thought was your life still play out in season 10,” she said. “It’s a major mindf***.”
Wilson and Batula confirmed their platonic relationship evolved in March, writing via Instagram, “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected.” Their joint statement continued, “Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
