That hair! New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand revealed in her new memoir, Off the Sidelines, that she once was roommates with Nashville actress Connie Britton — and, within its pages, the tome provides photo proof!
Sporting a priceless ’80s ‘do — a feathered cropped hairstyle — Britton smiles alongside Gillibrand in a photo apparently taken while the Dartmouth undergrads were studying abroad for a summer in Beijing.
The Emmy-nominated actress told HuffPost Live on Sept. 10 that her former roomie has always been “fearless.”
“I’m so intensely proud of her and it’s really inspiring to watch her because I do know what a powerhouse she is,” Britton said. “She was like that when we were living in China together. She was already at that time a real leader amongst our students there and, you know, almost larger than life — even back in college.”
