A swingin’ good time? Dakota Johnson reprised her role as Anastasia Steele and returned to Fifty Shades of Grey’s Red Room for a never-before-aired Saturday Night Live skit. The sketch, which was cut for time during her hosting gig over the weekend, is a hilarious fake sneak peek of the film’s sequel, Fifty Shades Darker.
In the clip, Johnson, 25, gets a surprise when she finds out that Christian Grey (Kyle Mooney) has decided to renovate the room with new floggers, dildos, “wiener holes,” and more. Unfortunately, the sexy mood is killed thanks to a bunch of construction workers who have overstayed their welcome.
“So nice to finally put a face to the measurements,” Bobby Moynihan says. Taran Killam reassures: “We’re putting together a real nice sex room for you Miss.”
The situation becomes even more uncomfortable when Kenan Thompson decides to try out the sex swing.
“Can he not sit in that?” Johnson asks. “I have to be the one tied to it naked.”
Jay Pharoah, for his part, kept the gag going by using her “shame blanket” as a napkin. “Oh, I’m sorry,” he says. “You want a rib?”
