Demi Moore is at last ready to officially pull the trigger in her divorce fight with estranged husband Ashton Kutcher. Sixteen months after the couple announced their separation following six years of marriage — and nearly three months after Kutcher filed his own papers — Moore is ready to submit her own divorce papers, the New York Post's Page Six reports.
An insider told the paper that the LOL actress, 51, had attempted to reach a confidential settlement with the Two and a Half Men star, 35, but eventually tired of stalled negotiations.
"Ashton made a lot of money after marrying Demi — a lot more than she made — but despite him becoming just as famous through her, he believes he doesn't owe her that much," the source told the Post. Moore "has had enough," the source added.
Kutcher, who has been dating Mila Kunis for nearly a year now, "has been very difficult during the talks," the source claims of the actor, who has made $24 million last year.
"Demi is definitely ready to move on," the source added, noting, "It's hoped lawyers for both sides can reach a settlement this spring, otherwise the divorce will go into litigation and trial."
Moore, meanwhile, is on the mend following a dramatic early 2012, when she suffered a meltdown and briefly entered rehab. "She is healthy and happy, and just wants to move on with her life."
