Looks like Denise Richards will be single during bikini season.
After reuniting last fall, the actress and mom, 41, has called it quits with Richie Sambora, a source confirms to Us Weekly. (Celebuzz was first to break the news Tuesday.)
"They're done," the source says of Richards and the Bon Jovi rocker, 52. The pair first dated from 2006 to 2007 after splitting from their respective spouses Charlie Sheen and Heather Locklear. "They've always stayed friends through everything they've gone through," another insider explained.
Sambora was still gushing about Richards May 8 — telling Us how much he admired Richards' summer 2011 adoption of daughter Eloise. "That is just a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful thing," Sambora said of Eloise, who joined big sisters Sam, 8, and Lola, 7, Richards' girls with ex Sheen. "When she did that, it just made me fall in love with her more for god sakes."
Richards was a bit cagier this Tuesday during an interview with Billy Bush on Access Hollywood Live. "I'm friends with some very lovely men and everything's great!" she said when asked if she's currently dating.
One person who'd love to get romantic with Richards again? Her volatile ex-husband Sheen, 46. "She still looks f-cking great," Sheen told Rolling Stone. "Do I want to [have sex with her again]? Yeah! Does she? Don't know."
For her part, Richards simply told the mag, "We are like best friends now. Confidants. He tells me everything."
