Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton’s six-month relationship has been pricked by a thorn.
The pair, who met on season three of Bachelor in Paradise this summer, “broke up, but their relationship is always up in the air,” says a Stanton pal. “It’s been like that from the beginning.”
And though a second source says the former pro baseball player, 32, and aesthetician, 26, are still together, their romance isn’t exactly rosy. “They definitely have their issues,” says an insider close to the ABC reality dating competition.
While filming Paradise, Stanton was warned about Murray — he vied for Andi Dorfman’s heart on The Bachelorette season 10 — by her fellow castmates. (Refresher: In her tell-all book, It’s Not Okay, Dorfman accused Murray of emotionally abusing her. He called her claims “fiction.”) But Stanton brushed off the information — and refused to read the book. “I know Josh pretty well now myself, so it’s not something I’m too worried about,” she told Us in August. “There are two sides to every story.”
After Murray proposed with a 2.65-carat Neil Lane sparkler on the finale, he relocated from Atlanta to Stanton’s apartment in Irvine, California. “Things are going amazing,” he told Us at the time. “I 100 percent believe that Amanda is somebody I could spend the rest of my life with.”
Since then, he’s swiftly stepped into the role of stepdad to her daughters Kinsley, 4, and Charlie, 2. “We couldn’t be happier,” the adviser for health company AdvoCare told Us in November. “We have a ton of fun stuff coming up during this holiday season so we are staying very busy! “
