Off Campus star Mika Abdalla found love off screen with her fiancé, Jake Short.
Abdalla, who portrays Allie Hayes in the hit Off Campus series, met Short in 2021. Four years later, the pair’s engagement was confirmed by Short’s manager, Brian Medavoy.
“An awesome day yesterday celebrating the next chapter for my longtime client, Jake Short and his fiance Mika Abdalla. From set to real life – watching your journey has been a joy. Here’s to forever,” Medavoy captioned the Instagram post in 2025, alongside a photo of the couple.

Jake Short Is an Actor
Short has starred in a series of shows, including A.N.T Farm, Mighty Med and Lab Rats: Elite Force.
“I got into acting four years ago,” Short recalled in a 2011 interview. “I started in Indiana where I’m from. I basically developed from there. I came out here, got a manager and agent and that’s basically my story in how I got involved in acting.”
Jake Short Won a Kids Choice Award
Short took home the Kids Choice Award Winner for Favorite TV Actor in 2012 for his role in A.N.T Farm as Fletcher Quimby. He was also nominated in 2014 for the same award but lost to Ross Lynch.
Jake Short Is a Director
Short shared in March 2026 that he directed his first short, which starred Bradley Stephen Perry.
“Could not be more thrilled to share that my first crack at directing a short will be screened in my home city at BHFF and close to my home town at CIFF!” he wrote via Instagram at the time. “The odds that these screenings are one day apart seems impossible, but please please buy tickets if you are able to attend either festival on April 14th or 15th. I will be attending both festivals!!”
He continued, “Info on tickets is in my bio. Countless lessons were learned in this process and I have a million thanks to give to everyone that has helped along the way. I could go on and on here, but I’ll save that. Cause really I just want to keep creating things with my friends. And I hope I get to share a lot more of this more often. Jake Short Started a Podcast With Bradley Stephen Perry
Short and Perry started their podcast, “The Sit and Chat,” in 2025. The pair’s most recent episode dropped in January 2025 with guest Olivia Holt.
“Two friends who grew up in the film industry chat with other creatives about their background and opportunities that lead them to pursue their passions,” the summary reads.
