Still going strong. The Duggar family celebrated Josh and Anna’s eighth wedding anniversary on Monday, September 26, posting a Facebook photo of the couple together. This is their first image together since Josh’s scandal.
“Happy Anniversary, Josh and Anna. We are so thankful for God’s redemptive love in your lives,” the caption read alongside a photo of the smiling couple posing before a brick wall.
As noted on the family’s blog, it is also the 13-month anniversary of the 19 Kids and Counting stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s announcement that Josh, 28, had entered a faith-based treatment center after he admitted to cheating on his wife, 28, and inappropriately touching his younger sisters when he was 14.
After completing his treatment at the rehab center, his family revealed he had returned home and will continue an out-patient program to “focus on rebuilding with his family,” according to the Duggars’ blog.
“Throughout this ordeal, Anna remained faithful to her husband,” the family noted in Monday’s blog post. “She continued to trust in God and be strong for her children.”
Josh and Anna are parents to four kids: Mackynzie, 6, Michael, 4, Marcus, 2, and Meredith, 14 months.
Anna has since appeared on the family's spinoff, Counting On, but Josh has yet to film for the series since TLC canceled 19 Kids and Counting.
