Elsie Hewitt and Pete Davidson are seemingly on good terms as they continue to coparent their daughter following their split.
“Scottie crawled for the first time to this song 😭 we dance to Olivia Dean every day,” Hewitt, 30, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, August 17, praising her former boyfriend for helping her secure tickets to Dean’s concert at NYC’s Madison Square Garden.
“It’s our album. Her music has given me so much and been with us thru every up and down this year,” she added. “I hope whoever fumbled her is shaking in their boots but hey thanks for some of the inspo behind The Art of Loving and thanks to my baby daddy for the tix!!! 🤣.”
Hewitt’s message comes after she claimed she was raising their daughter, Scottie, 8 months, on her “own” after she and the comedian called it quits in May.
That same month, she addressed paparazzi pics of her and Scottie, saying, “Yeah, yeah, I know. I’m exhausted, OK? I should’ve left the house looking nicer yesterday. I should’ve known that that was going to happen.”
She added, “That’s not what I’m thinking about right now, because I have a baby to take care of. And I also have to work and make money, and I’m doing it on my own, which is hard.”
Later in May, a source exclusively told Us that Davidson was confused by Hewitt’s comment.
“Pete is fully financially supporting the child and Elsie,” the insider shared. “He’s very present in the baby’s life. He wants nothing but the best for Elsie and he shoulders all of the financial costs, including the costs for Elsie, her rent and her health insurance.”
The source continued, “Elsie’s posts caught everyone around them off guard because they are simply not true.”
Davidson and Hewitt were first romantically linked in March 2025, after they were spotted packing on the PDA in Palm Beach, Florida. Shortly after, the duo soft launched their romance on social media. In May of that same year, they made their red carpet debut at the Blossom Ball in New York City.
Hewitt and Davidson announced that they were expecting their first child together in July 2025. They welcomed Scottie in December 2025, naming the infant after Davidson’s late dad, Scott, a firefighter who died while responding to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
