Emily Ratajkowski Would Love to Have Beyonce and Lena Dunham In Her Girl Squad

Emily Ratajkowski has a pretty ambitious girl squad in mind. The Gone Girl actress revealed her wish list of celebrities she would love to have as part of her team during an interview on Saturday, May 14.

“In my girl squad, I guess it’s girls, but I would have loved to have Prince. I think that he would’ve worked with a girl squad,” the 24-year-old told DJ Gabby Sanderson at the Soap & Glory’s Beauty Boudoir at the Wango Tango music festival. “Beyoncé, obviously. Lemonade is amazing and I think she’d be a really awesome person to hang out with. And then Lena Dunham. I’m lucky to know her in real life and she actually just had her birthday yesterday. She’s a lot of fun.”

Ratajkowski, who was on hand to chat about her beauty advice, added that she enjoys making a ceremony of getting ready to go out.

“I love to light some candles, put on some good music and then I just really like to give myself extra time to make sure I don’t have to rush at all,” she said of how she gets herself in the mood for a night out on the town.

And if she’s heading out with girlfriends, then Ratajkowski said “a nice glass of champagne” is essential for everyone.

“I think it’s really about not comparing yourself to other people and realizing, especially with your physical body, that’s what you’re given and learning to love that and accept that, and realize that everyone feels that way,” she said. “So you might be looking at someone and thinking, Oh, they have everything I want, and they’re thinking the same thing. So once you get past that, you can start to really like yourself and everyone else around you responds to that as well.”

In March, she and Kim Kardashian made waves on social media when they posed a joint topless selfie in response to haters who were slut-shaming Kardashian for her nude pic.

“When we’re like … we both have nothing to wear,” Kardashian, 35, wrote alongside a snap of herself and the “Blurred Lines” model.
