Farrah Abraham Sells Her Sex Tape for Less Than She Wanted

"Teen Mom" Farrah Abraham wouldn't admit to having a sex tape last week. This week, she's reportedly collecting big bucks for it!

Abraham, 21, has inked a deal with Vivid Entertainment to distribute the sexually explicit video she made with porn star James Deen for — are you ready for it? — "close to $1 million," according to TMZ.

The transaction comes less than two weeks after Abraham went round and round with Dr. Phil on his talk show about the reason the tape existed and what it is exactly. (For the record, it features Abraham in some compromising positions with Deen.)

"I did not make a porn video," she insisted, adding that she hired a company to find a porn actor for the low-brow project to keep it professional. "I made my own personal video. My personal video does not show any other male's face. He is just like the prop in the background. It's more about me. I'm celebrating my body, and I'm showing my feminine side. This is something that never should have been talked about publicly, because it was something that I personally wanted when I'm older. I want those sexy photos of me of my best year."

Deen revealed the existence of the tape to the public after he was seen with Abraham and asked about their connection.

While Abraham's payday seems hefty for a former reality star, it's a lot less than the amount she told Dr. Phil she wanted.

She informed the doc that her legal team and personal advisers were looking into the possibility of selling her odd keepsake, but that the offer "would have to be for more than $2 million." Apparently, she changed her mind!

"I am happy with the seven figure settlement I have reached, with who I feel to be the best adult entertainment company in the industry, Vivid," Abraham said in a statement. "This is a risk for me to take, however I feel comfortable having given the rights to Vivid, a company I know can handle the media and press surrounding my sexuality."

She continued, "I am very pleased with the outcome and to have this opportunity to be an entrepreneur in another unexpected light in my life. I look forward to my future goals of completing my Masters degree, focusing on being a great mother for my daughter as well as many other culinary business endeavors in the future."

Vivid's Steven Hirsch explained the appeal of the video, which goes on sale at vivid.com on May 6 and in stores nationwide on May 14, in a statement on the company's website.

"We went after this movie as vigorously as any sex tape we've ever pursued," Hirsch said. "We felt it was definitely worth it, not only because of Farrah's popularity, but because the footage itself is amazing."

Oh, and there was one more thing.

"Farrah's looks remind me of a young Kim Kardashian, and we all know how her story turned out."

Yes, we do.
