Fergie Hints Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian Feud Is a Publicity Stunt

Sigh. Kim Kardashian’s pal Fergie suggested during an interview with Kyle and Jackie O that Kardashian’s feud with Taylor Swift is perhaps just one big ol’ publicity stunt. (Watch the video above to hear the infamous phone call between Kanye West and Swift that has the world talking!)

“You’ve gotta respect her for sticking up for her husband,” the “M.I.L.F. $” singer told the Australian radio hosts when asked about the drama during an interview on Thursday, July 21.

“Knowing them, it’s probably a big master plan,” the singer added of Kardashian and her husband, West. “They’ll probably all come together at the MTV Awards or something.”

It’s no surprise that Fergie is sticking up for Kimye, considering Kardashian recently lent her curves to Fergie’s sexy new music video for “M.I.L.F. $.” Reality TV’s most famous family is also known for keeping its fans on their toes when it comes to frenemies. Let’s not forget when Kylie Jenner practically broke Instagram by posing with family nemesis and Tyga’s ex Blac Chyna this past April.

Swift and Kimye have buried the hatchet before, of course. Six years after West infamously interrupted Swift’s MTV VMA speech in 2009, the threesome waved the white flag and sat together at the 2015 MTV VMAs, where Swift presented West with the Video Vanguard Award.

As previously reported, the social media maven released Swift and West’s conversation via Snapchat regarding those controversial “Famous” lyrics this past Sunday, July 17, after months of deliberation.

“They are sick of Taylor’s manipulations and her good-girl act,” an insider previously told Us of Kimye’s decision to go HAM. “They just wanted to expose her as a fake.”

Swift maintains that she was never informed about the entire song, which features the lyric “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.”

“Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that bitch’ in his song?” Swift expressed in a statement on Instagram on Sunday, explaining her feelings. “It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that bitch’ in front of the entire world.”
