Better with Blac Chyna! When Us Weekly caught up with French Montana on the red carpet for his new film, The Perfect Match, he gave a glowing endorsement to his pal Rob Kardashian’s romance with the video model.
“I love the energy Rob is in. That’s my little brother. But I love him. So I love the energy he’s in so …. I mean, as long as somebody is happy doing what they’re doing and just working out, having a lot of energy, I love that,” the hip-hop star raved to Us of how Kardashian, 28, has changed since dating Chyna, 27.
When asked if the reclusive reality star and the former stripper make a good match, Montana, 31, was quick to give his seal of approval. “Yeah, I love it,” he said.
Montana first grew close with Kardashian two years ago, when the “Move That Cane” rap artist dated Rob’s older sister, Khloé, for several months before calling it quits in December 2014.
“He has really good energy, and every time I speak to him he’s working out or doing something positive,” Montana added of the Arthur George sock designer’s bond with Chyna. “I love that.”
As Us Weekly previously reported, Kardashian and Chyna raised eyebrows this past weekend, when Kardashian deleted all of his Instagram photographs, and Chyna posted a quote referencing a breakup.
A source told Us that the couple had a “fight” about how much time they’d been spending together, but that it wouldn’t result in a permanent split. “They’ll be back,” the source said. “This is a relationship in the fast lane, it’s so dramatic.”
In less than a day, the pair patched things up and told fans they were going to start making their relationship a little more private.

“Chy and I are not broken up we just feel like it would be a lot healthier for our relationship if we kept a lot more to ourselves. It’s impossible to have a positive relationship with so much negativity from the media and outsiders and we would appreciate it if everyone respects that,” he captioned a cute Instagram photo of the two cuddled close together. Kardashian signed off with “ChyRo,” the self-appointed portmanteau for the newly minted celeb couple.
Kardashian and Chyna first went public with their romance in January, which insiders told Us upset the Kardashian-Jenner family. (Chyna’s ex, Tyga, is currently dating Kardashian’s half-sister Kylie Jenner.)
