Sending mixed signals! Gigi Hadid got fans all in a flurry after she stepped out wearing a pendant with her ex Zayn Malik’s initial on it on Friday, June 3, just one day after news broke of their split.
The 21-year-old model donned black tights, a white T-shirt, and a red-and-black varsity jacket while out to dinner in West Hollywood, and eagle-eyed fans noticed that she accessorized with a familiar long necklace with the letter “Z.”
Later in the night, Hadid added more confusion to the mix when she Snapchatted a video of herself lip synching to Malik’s hit “Pillowtalk” while out at an event.
“I love to hold you close, tonight and always,” Hadid mouthed into the camera. “I love to wake up next to you.”
Hadid and Malik, 23, called it quits on their relationship earlier this week after seven months together, but the model has continued to post sentimental, cryptic messages to social media.
On Friday, Hadid snapped a video that showed a greeting card with a picture of a T-shirt with a heart on its sleeve.
“I know it’s obvious but I love you,” the message read. Hadid captioned the video with a tiny smiley face.
The Victoria’s Secret model and the former One Direction boy bander first sparked dating rumors in November, but it wasn’t until more recently that the couple went public with their relationship.
They were last spotted together in public at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala in May.
