Grayson nodded before discussing his weight after spending a significant amount of time in the gym.,

“I was 134 [in] November [or] December. I’m 165 right now. So 31 pounds,” he explained, adding that he can “tell” he has bulked up when he looks at old photos of himself.

“When I see pictures of me before, I was like…” he began, before his father interrupted.

“Way too skinny,” Todd interjected.

Going into his 20s, Grayson shared that he looks back and wishes he could tell his teenage self to “calm down.”
“I was angry in my teens,” he continued. “From about 16 to 18.” Grayson shared that he felt most mad about his parents being convicted of conspiring to defraud community banks in 2022.

“I was angry about it [and] why it happened,” he added. “And then eventually I kind of saw — it wasn’t a good thing, by any means — but I saw what came from it and I was like, ‘OK.’ It also showed me not to stress about a lot of small things.”

His father agreed,” adding that “one of the greatest joys” for the reality TV star was the ability to mirror adversity for his children. (Todd and wife Julie Chrisley share Chase, 29, Savannah, 27, and Chloe, whom they adopted from Todd’s son Kyle from his first marriage.)

“That’s exactly right,” Todd said “That is one of the greatest joys for me. At the lowest point of my life and the greatest level of adversity, I was still able, your mother as well, to stand and allow y’all to see that this is not going to break us.”

He continued, “It’s not going to destroy us. This is a tough time, but we’ll get through it just like so many other millions have gotten through it. We’re no exception. We’re not better, and we’re not worse. We survived it.”

In 2022, Todd and Julie, 53, were found guilty of bank and other fraud offenses. They were sentenced to 12 and seven years, respectively, in federal prison.

The couple were given a full pardon from President Donald Trump in May 2025 and were released that same month. After getting out of prison, they started filming their reality show again, The Chrisleys: Back to Normal.
