Conscious uncoupling might be a longer process than we thought! Exactly two weeks after announcing her split from husband of 10 years Chris Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow resurfaced on Tuesday, April 8 in Los Angeles. While sitting in a car's passenger seat, Paltrow, 41, appeared to be wearing her wedding ring.
The Goop creator and her Coldplay frontman hubby have spent the last two weeks in the Bahamas together, vacationing with their children Apple, 9, and Moses, 7.
"It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate," the couple wrote in a join statement on March 25. "We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate."
Sources close to the couple revealed that they have been struggling with their marriage for a while.
"For a long time, they balanced each other out, but she was a control freak," a confidant told Us. Paltrow monitored the children's diets, keeping them on a low-carb, gluten-free diet. "Chris couldn't take it anymore."
