The 49-year-old actress looked stunning in blue as she walked the red carpet at Spectre: The Black Women of Bond tribute at Los Angeles’ California African American Museum, her gentle smile giving away nothing about the rough few days she’s had since she announced the end of her two-year marriage to Olivier Martinez.

The Extant actress filed for divorce from Martinez a week ago on Tuesday, Oct. 27 (and then did it again, this time using her real name instead of a pseudonym, one day later).

But if dealing with a divorce in the public eye wasn’t tricky enough, Berry’s luck took a turn for the worse on Monday, Nov. 2, when her ex-husband Justice spent the morning ranting about his former wife in a series of tweets, some of which were later deleted.

Blasting his ex and her team for trying “to destroy my character,” he also mentioned her other exes, Gabriel Aubry, Martinez, and Eric Benet in a since-deleted tweet, saying they were all her “Knight in Shining Armor” until the relationships ended.

Chiming in the following day, Benet gave Justice the virtual thumbs-up with a response: “My man at @23davidjustice is tweeting some truth dis’ mornin’!”

But while her love life is making headlines, Berry looked serene on the red carpet and told Us Weekly in a statement that she and Martinez are determined to keep things civil for the sake of their son, Maceo, 2.

“We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus for what is best for our son,” they said. “We wish each other nothing but happiness in life, and we hope that you respect our, and most importantly, our children’s privacy, as we go through this difficult period.”
