Harry Potter’s Evanna Lynch Confirms She Broke Up with Boyfriend Robbie Jarvis

Even magic couldn’t save Luna Lovegood’s relationship with Harry Potter’s dad! Evanna Lynch, who starred in four of the Harry Potter films, confirmed to Us Weekly exclusively that she is no longer dating Robbie Jarvis, who played young James Potter in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. (Watch them in their respective scenes from the movie in the clip above!)

When asked if she was still with Jarvis at the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them premiere in New York City on November 10, Lynch told Us: "No, but we’re still friends.”

The couple, who never starred on-screen together in the franchise but confirmed their relationship in an April 2015 post, have delighted Muggle fans with their adorable Instagram shots together — revealing their shared love of animals (including hangouts with Lynch’s cat Puff) and veganism.

In fact, it’s those eating habits that have kept the exes friendly. “We're both vegans, so we go to a lot of vegan events together,” the Irish actress, 25, also told Us at the premiere, held at Manhattan’s Alice Tully Hall. “So yeah, we’re still good friends."

Three weeks ago on October 25, Jarvis posted a throwback photo explaining how deep that connection runs. “3 years ago today I was in New Zealand with @msevylynch pretending to be Hobbits on the farm where they shot 'The Shire' scenes in LOTR,” the British actor, 30, posted on Instagram. "Evy had sworn off meat basically as soon as someone can consciously choose to and has a special affinity for animals, so visiting places like that with her is always fun and we had a great morning. So when we got to the farm cafe for lunch and she asked me 'What do you want?' I didn't detect even the hint of a trap. 'A lamb burger' I replied emphatically… Her face fell." He went on to describe how her influence made her decide to go vegan.

Other Instagram posts showed more of their travels around the world — like visiting San Francisco's Alcatraz Island to celebrate James Potter's birthday, hiking in Los Angeles' Runyon Canyon, reading at a park in Cambridge and exploring the sights (and meeting Hello Kitty!) in Japan.

Since Harry Potter, Lynch has starred in the film My Name Is Emily and the BBC Television movie Danny and the Human Zoo. Jarvis has guest-starred on the TV series EastEnders and Upstairs Downstairs.
