Harry Styles got candid about the hit single that soundtracked his first time.
“I lost my virginity to ‘Talk Show Host,’” Styles, 32, said of Radiohead’s 1996 song while honoring Thom Yorke at the Ivor Novello Awards in London on Thursday, May 21.
Styles then hilariously clarified, “I lost my virginity to the intro of ‘Talk Show Host.’” The audience erupted into laughter because the song’s intro lasted for exactly 10 seconds.
This isn’t the first time Styes has opened up about his sex life. In 2022, he told Better Homes & Gardens that he felt like it was the “only thing” that was still his.
“For a long time, it felt like the only thing that was mine was my sex life,” he said. “I felt so ashamed about it, ashamed at the idea of people even knowing that I was having sex, let alone who with.”
Styles continued, “At the time, there were still the kiss-and-tell things. Working out who I could trust was stressful. But I think I got to a place where I was like, ‘Why do I feel ashamed?’ I’m a 26-year-old man who’s single; it’s like, yes, I have sex.”
Styles also opened up about people questioning his sexuality, which he thought was “outdated.”
“I’ve been really open with it with my friends, but that’s my personal experience; it’s mine,” he said. “The whole point of where we should be heading, which is toward accepting everybody and being more open, is that it doesn’t matter, and it’s about not having to label everything, not having to clarify what boxes you’re checking.”
News broke in April that Styles is reportedly engaged to Zoë Kravitz after eight months of dating.
Styles and Kravitz sparked engagement rumors in April when she was seen wearing a diamond ring on her left hand. The diamond appeared to be oval cut.
The duo were first spotted together in August 2025 in Italy. At the time, a source told Us Weekly, “They are very similar and are free-spirited people, so they hit it off and have a lot of chemistry.”
Later in December, an insider told Us that Styles got the seal of approval from her father, Lenny Kravitz.
“He thinks they’re a great match,” the source said. “Lenny says they really make each other happy and have an easy-going relationship, like best friends who are dating.”
