Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitschko may not be commenting on their recent engagement (as exclusively reported in the April 8 issue of Us Weekly), but the on-again stars aren’t trying to hide their affections, either! The 23-year-old Nashville actress and the 37-year-old heavyweight boxing champion spent Saturday, March 30, soaking up the sun and packing on the PDA in Hollywood, Florida.
Rocking a purple fringe bikini, Panettiere flaunted her flawless figure while strolling on the sand with Klitschko. The Ukrainian athlete, meanwhile, showed off his six-pack abs and well-defined arms during the afternoon outing. The future spouses were photographed kissing during a dip in the Atlantic Ocean. Panettiere sported a diamond-encrusted ring, though she wore it on her right hand.
“She isn’t wearing her ring publicly yet,” a friend of the couple told Us of Panettiere, whose ex-boyfriends include NFL player Scotty McKnight, reality star Stephen Colletti and actor Milo Ventimiglia. The tight-lipped “Boys and Buses” singer reunited with Klitschko in January 2013, just 19 months after they mutually agreed to end their two-year romance.
“We’re just good buddies,” Panettiere insisted when pressed about their on-again relationship. Throughout her trip, the Scream 4 starlet has tweeted pictures of herself with the once-married pugilist and musician BFFs Erin McCarley, Betsy Roo and Kate York. “Love my friends!” she wrote in one photo caption.
According to an insider, the 5-foot-2 Golden Globe nominee and the 6-foot-6 fighter are eager to become man and wife: “Looks like a summer wedding!”
