Here at Us Weekly headquarters, accidental red carpet wardrobe malfunctions are just a part of life. (Seriously, we have a whole gallery devoted to them.) But that doesn’t mean we’re any less horrified for the ladies they happen to! In fact, we often ask ourselves, what on earth would we do if our fierce couture just flew up into our faces, revealing our unmentionables (and then some!)?
Well, thanks to actress Zaina Dridi, who attended the Carol premiere at the 10th annual Rome Film Festival on Wednesday, Oct. 22, in a less-than-cooperative aquamarine dress, we now know the best way to do it: Grin and bear it — heck, even own it!
After all, was it not Charlie Chaplin who once said, “Smile, even through the most ridiculous of wardrobe malfunctions.” (We’re pretty sure that’s accurate.)
Here, we present the imagined internal conversations of Ms. Dridi, a true red carpet champion.

“Ah, Roma! Your people are so lovely, your pizza is so delicious. Cate B. isn’t even here peacocking in some ridiculous (i.e. amazing) Schiaparelli to steal my thunder. This is my best life. Vi amo, everyone!”

“Ooh! Hey now, wind.”

“You are a cheeky little devil, you wind, you!”

“Maybe if i turn to the side?”

“Why are there so many slits in this dress?!”

“You know what? When in Rome! I’m owning this. I see you seeing me, paparazzi, and you better be getting my good side.”

“I’m wearing underwear and my legs are beyond fierce. Haters hate elsewhere.” *snaps*
