Hef's moving on!
Six days after Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris called off their wedding, the 85-year-old Playboy mogul seems to be readjusting to bachelor life.
"It's the start of a new day, and a new week," he tweeted Monday. "And I'm happy to be single."
"The breakup is a heartbreaker, but better now than after the marriage," Hefner tweeted Tuesday. Later in the week he wrote: "After all is said and done, staying single is probably the best. I think I just missed a bullet."
Hefner tweeted Sunday that "Crystal came by to see how I've been doing" and added: "we remain close friends." Despite getting dumped, he remains supportive of his 25-year-old ex's career. On Tuesday, he tweeted about Harris' single "Club Queen" being for sale on iTunes and added: "I hope it's a hit."
While he might not be getting back his fiance, he did get back his loyal dog, Charlie. On Tuesday Hefner tweeted that Harris "took Charlie with her when she left." Fortunately on Sunday, Harris returned the Cavalier King Charles spaniel because "he's happier" with Hefner. "I appreciate it, because I really missed him," he said.
